Welcome to the web site of MK Racing! MK Racing stands for Mike Kokenes, who has been racing since his father gave it up in the 1990's. His father Bob started racing back in the early 60's. He raced at the US.30 Dragstrip, Oswego Union Grove. His cars were called the Koke Machine, so we decided to continue carrying the name.

Mike started driving in a 1990 Dodge Daytona, which at the time had a 440 motor in it. Over the years he moved up to a 572 motor with a nitrous fogger system. The best time was 7.52. They sold the Daytona in 2002 and brought the current car a 1964 Dodge Polara built by Jerry Haas Race Cars. It currently has a 636 b1 ts motor with a nitrous fogger system, which runs in the low 7's
